Der Titel zu dem Bild lautet:
Meriden c.1979 750cc twins on track (Steve Koerner). I think the guy in the foreground is Rob Miller.Interessanter Weise lebt dieser Rob Miller noch und hat als Zeitzeuge folgendes dazu im Meriden Triumph gepostet:
"When I started at Triumph I worked on making the front legs but after a few week on there I told my boss Harry Hughes that I could not stand working in one place every day and with all my skills as anengineer I was being wasted, he had a word with some people and came back to me and told me that I was going to be floater, the explained to me, if someone was off work or someone needed a hand on another section in the factory I would be sent there, I wouldn't know where or what I would be doing until Harry told me when I got to work each day, I seen worked and met just about everyone at Meriden, as far as I know I was the only one, Best job in there and the best place I have ever worked, and I still miss it even NOW.
In the picture that day I was on the assembly line fitting the font wheel and connecting the front brake pipe."
